Do you need to visit the property before quoting?

Accepted Answer

Not always. For straightforward residential lawns, clear photos and a description are often enough to give you a reliable figure. For larger blocks, overgrown sites, multi-property portfolios and commercial or government scopes, an on-site look is usually the better way to confirm access, terrain and the real amount of work involved.

No. There is no obligation to proceed. If the scope changes once we are on site, we talk to you before doing extra work rather than adjusting the job quietly.

What is included in Standard Lawn Mowing?

Accepted Answer

Standard Lawn Mowing covers ordinary mowing of a lawn that is already being maintained, normal edging, trimming around fixed obstacles such as posts, taps and garden beds, and hard-surface blow-down of the clippings the mow generates from paths and driveways. Garden work, standalone detail work and taking waste off site are quoted separately.

What happens if my grass is long, heavy or overgrown?

That is quoted as Overgrown Lawn Recovery rather than Standard Lawn Mowing. Recovery work is quoted from photos or an inspection because hazards hidden in the growth, staged cutting and the volume of material all change the work involved. Once the property is back to a normal condition it can move onto standard mowing.

Do you take the green waste away?

Only where your written quote lists it. Green-Waste Removal states the accepted material and the allowance included, plus how any excess is handled. Soil, rocks, mixed waste and hazardous waste are excluded unless we have expressly verified them in writing. No. Weed work is Manual Weeding & Garden-Bed Tidy — manual, non-chemical removal only. We do not offer chemical or pesticide weed treatment, and nothing on this website should be read as an offer to perform it.

No. Hedge & Low Vegetation Trimming covers accessible hedges, shrubs and low vegetation, with the cutback and waste handling stated in the quote. Arborist work, major tree work, tree felling and palm climbing are excluded.

Is my preferred date a confirmed booking?

No. A preferred date is a request. We confirm the actual date with you in writing, and wet ground, severe weather or access problems can mean a visit has to be rescheduled.
